The APOR220 DSRC Radio is a compact, carrier-grade outdoor Road Side Unit (RSU) supporting communications between vehicles and existing traffic equipment such as Signal Controllers to enable Connected Vehicle Services. The radio is designed to address the needs of the connected vehicle market and supports a variety of automotive safety and commercial V2X applications. The unit has a ruggedized housing with built-in quad-band radios operating as DSRC, 5Ghz Backhaul, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Access Point, and Bluetooth 5.0 interfaces concurrently supporting multi-purpose applications. The DSRC Radio has capability to operate in two 5.9GHz channels simultaneously using the WAVE protocol stack and other standards associated with DSRC for vehicular communications.
